10 weeks old...

Livi has had a fun week with NaNe! She came up to Blanco to babysit for us while I returned to work this last week. It was hard leaving Livi for the first time, but I knew she was in the best hands. I think NaNe enjoyed herself too... :)
Livi looks a bit grumpy in this picture - we couldn't get her to smile. I think it was because we had just taken her out of the bath!

Happy Livi!

She has the brightest smile - here is another picture of her laying out at Fiesta Texas. Everyone comments on her big, beautiful eyes.

Mommy and her baby

I thought I'd post this pic of Livi and I... I like it! :)

9 weeks old...

... look at my little baby growing! She is so good. She still has reflux, but it seems to be getting a bit better. She only cries when she's hungry or when we're not paying enough attention to her! :) We love Livi!

Fiesta Texas!

Livi and I joined Emmalee and her classmates last Wednesday for their 8th grade trip to Feista Texas. The kids had so much fun and Livi was such a good baby. She and I camped out in the shade most of the day, but I did get to sneak away for a bit for one ride. Emmalee actually rode the roller coasters and the log ride - an achievment on its own! It was such a good day!

Two months old!

Here is Livi wearing her 12 mos onesie... still quite a bit big on her. At two months Livi weighed 10.5 lbs. and was 22.75 inches long! She is growing so fast... she is really starting to try and roll. If you lay her down on her tummy, she'll scooch herself all over. She is smiling and interacting with anyone who'll pay her attention. She loves company!

Jeff and the Babies

I don't know who is happier - Jeff or the babies... they all look pretty comfortable!

Yea Emmalee!

Emmalee's year end award ceremony was last night and she did so well. She won the Subject Area Award for 8th Grade Academic Achievement and the President's Award for Educational Achievement. We are so proud of her!

My family

Here is a great pic of the family. This is the first time we've all been together in 2 1/2 years...

Little Angels

Livi and Aaron were baptized Saturday evening... Aaron did really well, but Livi started screaming right before we were done and all through the pictures. :(

But they looked so cute... they struck a pose for us before we left for church. Aaron looks like he has his arm around Livi - while she, unusually, is fast asleep!

See if you can find Emma!

(hint: she's standing by the right hand post)

Emma and friends..

Here is a cute pic of Emma and some of her friends... l to r

Meagan, Meghan, Krystal, Andrea, Kathleen, Emma, Madelyn and Katelyn.

Emma's Formal

Emmalee's 8th grade formal was held Saturday May 10th. She looked so beautiful!

The students had a catered meal from Zios, a DJ dance and then a slide show. I chaperoned (and had as much fun as the kids!) It was so nice to see all the students dressed up... they clean up nice! Emma even danced with her mom - she showed off how she can two-stop, waltz and polka. Here is pic of her in the middle of the dancefloor. I think everyone had a blast!

Not always smiley face!

Because I post so often about how happy Livi is - I thought I'd attached proof that she does get upset sometimes... Here is a picture of her mad at me because I'm holding a camera instead of her! :)

7 weeks old

Ms. Livi is 7 weeks old! We can't believe how time has flown by... already Jeff and I miss our itty-bitty newborn :) She is getting so big, her legs fall out of my lap while feeding now! She is such a good little girl, she smiles and coos, and gurgles all the time.

Remember the Alamo!

Today was Livi's first trip to the Riverwalk and the Alamo. We had to do some dress shopping for Emma's 8th grade formal on Saturday, so we packed up and headed downtown. We ate on the river at Joe's Crab Shack, where Livi left a HUGE surprise in her diaper for me. I have never seen a blowout quite like this one - it took Emma and I a good 15 minutes to clean her up and get back to the table. We quickly left there and headed to the Rivercenter for some shopping. We stopped by the Alamo to take Livi's first picture of (I'm sure) many, many more to come.

Kissing Robbie

Livi has a new favorite pastime... kissing her brother. :) Emma holds Livi up close to Robbie's cheek and she just goes to town loving on her brother. Robbie loves it too, he giggles and giggles until I fuss at them to stop teasing their sister.

6 weeks old!

Livi is 6 weeks old!

We took some professional pics on Thursday - but I won't get them back until May 14th. She did such a good job... she even smiled for a couple of them. I was pleasantly surprised. She has been smiling at us for a couple of weeks now, but I didn't think luck would find us that morning. But I needn't have worried - Livi just opened right up and smiled away.

She is growing by leaps and bounds. She has her dad's hairline, nose, chin, ears and torso - she is getting VERY long. The length between her armpits and her hips is quite a spread... I hope that continues. Life smells different for short people :)
